The Scanning Process
Identity Patrol will deep scan your computer for threats, and depending on how many programs and files on you have on your computer, this process could take up to 20 minutes to complete and should not be interrupted for best detection results.   The status bar at the bottom of the screen will show you what areas of your computer the program is currently scanning and the DEEP SCAN process will take the longest as this is when Identity Patrol examines the sub files and folders that other spyware programs ignore - which is exactly why malware likes to hide there as most programs can't detect them there.
Removing the Threats
Once Identity Patrol has completed the scan, it will show you a complete list of all of the threats the program has detected.  You can either remove all of the threats, or you can choose to remove only selected items by unchecking the box beside the threat.   Once you have decided which threats to remove, click the REMOVE IDENTITY THREATS NOW box and they will be deleted from your system.

NOTE:  Identity Patrol will not remove the found threats until the program has been unlocked with a purchased serial number.  To make this purchase, you will need to go to our eStore located here.
